President Buhari Very Fit To Run 2019 Election – Lauretta Onochie...read more below

The Personal Assistant on Social Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, Lauretta Onochie has said that President Muhammadu Buhari is very fit to contest for the upcoming presidential election come 2019.
Lauretta has attributed the moral decadence in the society to greed and loss of values, adding that Nigerians were hungry during the reign of PDP.
According to her, “Nigerians left the values we were taught, greed crept in and our leaders began to dip their hands into public purse, we stopped being our neighbours’ keeper.
‘’Nepotism crept in. We threw merit overboard and embraced mediocrity. It affected the entire fabrics of the country”.
She further urges Nigerians to be patient with the present administration.
Her words: “Issues that bedeviled our nation over 16 years cannot be tackled in 2 years. What this government is putting on ground are measures like ease of doing business. Everything cannot happen overnight. Change is what we promised; it is not an event, it is a process. We are working towards it. It is getting better; we are not where we ought to be. We are not where we used to be.’’

When asked about President Muhammadu Buhari who urged the then ailing and now late President Umaru Yar Adua to resign in 2010. With some prodding Buhari to now resign just as he said then. What is your reaction to this?
“The two situations are entirely different, very different. Late Yar Adua left this country as President and died as President, President Buhari handed power over to the Vice-President. You cannot compare the two issues. President Buhari has followed the constitutional requirements to the latter, he informed the National Assembly before he left, when he is coming back, he is going to follow due process. He is a due process advocate.’’
Asked if Buhari is fit to continue as President, she said: “absolutely and unless Nigerians say no and I doubt if that will happen, President Buhari is very fit to run for the 2019 elections.
‘’Nigerians are getting what they voted for in this government .We were hungry during the PDP government; just a few people had private jets. 11 million children as of that time were out of school due to the crisis in the North East. We are trying to redistribute the wealth so the common man can have something for himself. We have enough for everyone in this nation, but a few people then appropriated to themselves.
‘’We have the N-Power which serves as work experience for our young graduates, some graduated over 10 years.      N-Power is taking care of that requirement.’’
When asked why Nigeria has not witnessed massive infrastructural development in the past two years.
she stated: ‘’Project takes time and change takes time. We have to be patient as a people. It is always very difficult. Human beings are naturally resistant to change and that is what is happening at the moment. With time, everything is going to smoothen out.”

She said there is no resurgence of the Boko Haram sect.
Her words: “If issues of terrorism can be easily nipped, you cannot be hearing of terrorist attacks in the UK, USA and other advanced nations. We need to work harder in gathering intelligence. It will take a while. We must give it to the Nigerian Army, they have worked very hard and we should give it to them’’
The special adviser on social media to the President accused the PDP of churning out lies to Nigerians, saying: “That is what PDP is known for. They tell lies; look at the kidnap of Chibok girls, they doubted it. We held Jonathan to account and provided a virile opposition.
‘’PDP is not a virile opposition, they have shown they are not ready for it, with the lies they churn out against this government, APC as an opposition party took on PDP on issues not telling lies and bringing up propaganda, and the several cases of corruption has proved us right.”
