The Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, has vowed to deal with anyone who would want to cause commotion during the governorship election in the state scheduled on November 18.

He has issued a warning to the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) group and its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, to stay clear from the state during the governorship election. This was as a result of the IPOB leader’s comment who stated that he will start his Biafra revolution by claiming Anambra state.

Obiano, however, said that there will be election in the state and threatened members of the pro-Biafra group to stay away or face the wrath of the law.
The state governor said: “We are going to go after them, we will deal with those who said there would be no election in the state decisively”.
“People are free to vote candidates of their choice, you can see that in Anambra state today people now sleep with their two eyes closed.”
